The Nokiidaa Trail

THIS IS A RESCHEDULE OF THE JULY 26TH RIDE.

A Sunday Leisure Wheeler ride north of the city. From the Aurora GO station we ride north on quiet streets through Aurora. We take the Nokiidaa Trail, which continues north through Newmarket, and then proceed all the way to Mt.Albert Rd. We return on the same route but on the return, we will visit Newmarket for lunch where several restaurants are available, or you can bring your own picnic lunch.  There is gravel on some parts of the route which can make it challenging for skinny tires.

How to get to the START:

By car: If you are driving, try to arrive at 9:45 AM, 15 minutes before the start of the ride. Parking is available in the GO parking lot on the East side of the station. 

By GO Train: From Union- Aurora GO Station

OR take the subway to Downsview, then the GO Train - Aurora Go Station

Return GO Train to Downsview or Union Station from Aurora- 1:55 pm or 2:55 pm

Remember: Have your tires fully inflated and bring a spare inner tube for YOUR bike. A helmet is mandatory.

Weather: The ride could be cancelled because of the weather (e.g. too cold, too wet, too windy or...too hot).  If the weather looks doubtful, check the website after 8:00 AM on the day of the ride.
