They hold not just their food and preparation, but also their atmosphere and hospitality to a high standard. Vegan options available. The restaurant is a 10 minute drive from Brock campus, but parking may be limited so car-pooling is recommended. Their philosophy, according to their website is to treat guests like family, serve them delicious food made with love, at fair value. Their motto is “Experience the Taste of Italy.” The food is Definity Italian. The menu consists of 14 Italian Antipasti, Insalate, and 20 different Gourmet Pizzas, which can be gluten free. There are 20 different Pastas, again offered gluten free and come with a choice of soup of the day or house or Caesar salad. The Secondi Piatti are Eggplant Parmigiana, Vitello, Pollo, Salmon, Shrimp, Beef and lamb and are offered with house or Caesar salad, pasta or potatoes and soup of the day. Pizzas range in price from $21 to $25. Pastas from $25 to $39. Secondi Piatti from $28 to $69 (8 bone rack of lamb). The atmosphere is exposed stonework, a cozy fireplace, and a big summer patio. It’s set inside a restored, historic former old stone mill. The menu includes gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. It’s an 8 minute drive or a 20 minute cycle from the Brock residences. Enough choices for everyone and all meat meals come with four extras. They have vegetarian options too. The restaurant looks out over big ships transiting the Canal. It has very good reviews and reasonable prices.
