This was a Country Cruise ride on April 6 that was cancelled due to cold weather. Now, with pleasant Fall weather in the forecast, the ride leaders have asked to lead it as a pop-up Program-X ride. The route description below is from the April CC posting.

"Another relatively new addition to our Country Cruise collection, thanks to the route research of one of our CC "regulars".  It was created in summer 2020 - that memorable Covid-19 summer of riding in "bubbles".   Rest assured there are no cobble roads!  Rather the C.O.B. refers to the significant towns on the ride: Courtice, Orono and Bowmanville.  It is a lovely route that travels on undulating roads, including one which is perhaps the best - quite literally Best Road! - found on any of our CCs.  The designated lunch spot is Orono Park, in Orono, where there are picnic tables but, unfortunately, no washroom facilities until May.  Bring your own lunch or pick up something at the bakery (if open) or convenience store in Orono. Washrooms may be available in the bakery / coffee shop."

Start location:  Courtice Community Complex (2950 Courtice Rd, Courtice, ON)

Routes:  Courtice to Orono - 55, 64, 72, 87 km  (Please ignore the dates given in this RWGPS "event")
