Time : 10:00:00 AMDescription: THE WALKER WOODS DOUBLE LOOP The Walker Woods hike takes place on the Oak Ridges Moraine which was formed when a glacier retreated 10,000 to 12,000 years ago leaving behind a massive ridge. This multi-use trail network provides users with a great variety of loop alternatives with significant natural heritage features and breathtaking vistas. This is not a difficult trail but proper footwear is strongly recommended Distance: 11 km Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35023145 Pace: Moderate (~3.5 km/hr) Terrain: Moderate - rocky with hills and/or poor footing. Proper footwear is strongly recommended. Please make sure that you are capable physically of doing this hike. Parking is at a premium so please do not be late and find yourself scrambling for a parking spot. I have not checked this year but last year parking at this site was 6.00. Please carpool if possible.
